Remembering the past can bring us comfort during a difficult present. Beyond solace, by reflecting on the past we can also see the ways that God might be leading us into our future. Like the early Christians, we are challenged to devote ourselves to learning God’s Word, spending time in prayer, sharing with others, and cultivating community, even from our homes. Our worship service today reminds us that we can be devoted to God regardless of where we are.
